All Ravins have two timing dots that can be found on the cam and are on either side of the cable.

The string and cables need to be replaced before the two year mark...

1. If the cable is outside of the timing dots.

2. and/or is starting to show separation in the serving on the cables.

From Ravin..."We recommend that strings and cables be replaced at your local pro shop or the Ravin Service Department every 2 years or 400 shots. If you elect to replace the strings and cables, use only the Ravin Press. Do not use the Ravin Bow Press on any other crossbow.
